YAHOO GROUP APPRECIATION EVENT DAY 12 ~ SHAYLA BLACK

My feature author today is Shayla Black from the Wicked Writers Blog/Yahoo Group. Her new book "Belong To Me" #5 in her Wicked Lovers Series is coming out on 10/4/11. Scroll down for a blurb and excerpt.

She’s undercover and in over her head…

When FBI analyst Tara Jacobs’ fellow agent and best friend goes missing while investigating a sex ring, Tara goes undercover as a submissive in a Dallas BDSM club called Dominion. But no man can top a woman with Tara’s moxie convincingly enough—until an edgy, dangerous Dom takes control of the scene and sets her heart racing with a single, commanding glance. Too bad he’s also the man who stole her innocence years ago—and the one to whom she will never submit.

He’s got everything under control…until he falls for her again.

Navy SEAL Logan Edgington once left the woman he loved to save her life. He knows Tara will never forgive him, but he has no doubt that he possesses the knowledge to master her fears and the strength to guide her through an unfamiliar world of pleasure and pain. He alone can protect her on a dangerous mission that reveals both wicked depravities and terrible secrets. Logan relishes the exquisite torture of holding her again, feeling her uninhibited response. No matter how much Tara insists their fling will end after this mission, he’s determined that she will be his again—and this time, he’ll never let her go.

  1. If doesn't harm my family, then I think I would do just about anything to rescue a friend in need.

  2. As long as it doesn't harm another, I don't think there is much I wouldn't do.

  6. I would do anything to rescue someone I loved, including giving my own life for them. To do anything else, I could not live with myself.

  9. I have to agree with the other commenters. As long as it didn't hurt my family or friends, I would like to think I would step up to the plate and do whatever I could to rescue a friend.

  10. I echo the other posters comments with one exception. If the friend needing assistance is also a friend of my family...then after making them aware of the situation and telling them to be 'aware'...I'd do whatever needed to be done. My family would understand...and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't do everything within my power to get my friend rescued. Even if the friend wasn't a friend of my family, I would look into ways I could help them that wouldn't impact my family. I couldn't just idly sit by knowing that my friend was in danger. I'm now built like that.

  14. I would do almost anything for a friend. More than likely though, it would be my friend in trouble right beside me and we would be calling our parents to bail us out as if we were still teenagers.
