The Danger that is Damian Blog Tour, Review and Contest!

Hello all and welcome to Day 8 and the halfway point for the Danger that is Damian by Lisa Renee Jones blog tour. I hope you all have had a good time so far. Remember to check out all the ways to win some fantastic prizes at the end of this post.

First though, I would like to talk about book 3 in this fabulous series.

THE DANGER THAT IS DAMIAN

General Powell from book 1 has returned and he’s developed a way to create and control a new generation of female GTECHs. He plans to use these women to bring both, the Renegades and the Zodius soldiers, back under his command. The world will be his. Now, Damion, a Renegade, who readers met in book two, will be pitted against one of those soldiers, a woman destined to be both his Lifebond and his enemy. Damion will become her only hope of salvation and their trust in each other the only chance they have to save the world from a madman.

Damian is a Gtech soldier with some pretty amazing talents. While on a mission he runs into Lara and is introduced to the fact that there is a whole group of specially trained Gtech females. Now he needs to find out why they are trying to kill the man he is supposed to protect and who is creating them. Lara and Damian are thrust into a dangerous situation where they must either trust each other or both end up dead. Now they can’t figure out whether they are destined to be lovers or enemies.

This has got to be my favorite of the series. Damian is amazing. He is alpha to the core, strong, and protective yet he has a very sensitive side as well. He is your typical tortured hero. Lara is pretty kick ass. She is very untrusting but her heart tells her to trust Damian and she just can’t get past the pull that she feels whenever she is near him. The chemistry and loving between these two characters is sheet burning good. The story starts off with a bang and doesn’t let up the whole way through. There are twists and turns that keep you on your toes. You get to see characters, good and bad, from the past and you get to meet a very intriguing secondary character that I can’t wait to read about. This book had me holding my breath, fanning myself, laughing and crying all before the end pages. I would definitely recommend starting at the beginning so you get the whole story but this is for sure a MUST read.

  16. I like the laughing part, but the crying has me worried. I like tortured heroes, but not so tortured I want to cry. (Acheron was a case of way too much torture.)
